The Road to the Isles is a winding stretch of road that leads to the quaint fishing port of Mallaig.

It is celebrated in Scotland as a landscape filled with history, intrigue, romance and beauty. More recently it is also the film location for the famous Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter along with a number of other scenes from the franchise.

This is a tour of two parts, first there will be the opportunity to capture the architectural beauty of the Glenfinnan viaduct and the memorial to Bonnie Prince Charlie as well as the challenge of capturing the Jacobite steam train.

The second half is focused on the beauty of this unique part of Scotland with its expansive white sand beaches, lochs and glens before reaching the fishing town of Mallaig which still retains a small fleet of working boats that offer you the opportunity to create a range of unique and creative photographs that reflect this traditional way of life.
