At the end of a single track road, Port Appin is renowned for wonderful flora and fauna as well as stunning views of the Isle of Lismore.
This idyllic island has a number of small cottages that date back to the early 1800s that provided accomodation to those working in the local lime and fishing industries.
Castle Stalker sits on a small secluded island about 500 metres from the shore line. The castle is privately owned and is inhabited for the majority of the year.
This tour is for those who want to take their time and carefully consider the landscape shots they wish to create. The landscape is gentler but offers an abundance of opportunity for photographers of all disciplines.
You will enjoy a ferry crossing to Lismore followed by a circular walk around the northern end of the Island with breathtaking views to the mainland. You could spend hours in the picturesque hamlet of Port Ramsay.
Stopping at Castle Stalker and crossing the marshes via the Jubilee Bridge which affords spectacular views of the castle will bring the end of your tour to a wonderful conclusion.
